   Cook first 2 ingredients to soft ball stage, then cook next 3 ingredients to hard ball stage.

   Beat egg whites.

   Pour first mixture over egg whites.

   Beat until smooth and satinlike.

   Then slowly add second mixture and beat until creamy and stiff.

6. 6

   Add vanilla and nuts.

   Place on greased cookie sheet.

   Cut in squares when slightly cool.
