My Grandma'S Thunder Cake

   Cream together one at a time the shortening, sugar, vanilla, egg yolks, egg whites, water and pureed tomatoes.

   Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

   Mix dry mixture into creamy mixture. Bake in two greased and floured 8 1/2-inch round pans at 350u00b0 for 35 minutes.

   Frost with chocolate butter frosting.

   Top with strawberries.
