Mom'S Oven Pot Roast – a delicious recipe with chuck roast, Onion Soup Mix, egg noodles, butter, mushroom, aluminum foil. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Have the foil wrap large enough to be able to wrap and seal the roast.

(Foil is easy to double and mold to make larger.) Place foil wrap in a shallow baking pan.

On bottom of foil wrap, first sprinkle 1/2 the package of soup mix. Next add 1 can of mushrooms. Then in slices, add 1/2 stick butter.

Then lay the roast (lightly seasoned with salt and pepper) on top of butter. Spread the remaining 1/2 packet of soup mix, the second can of mushrooms and last half of butter (in slices) on top of the roast. Bring the aluminum foil wrap up and seal the top with a double fold and seal ends well.

Bake the foil wrapped roast (in baking pan) at 300 degrees for 3 hours.

Cook egg noodles according to package directions.

Top noodles with pot roast and mushroom juice.
