Ingredients: 5 each onions medium, diced; 4 stalks celery chopped; 4 each garlic crushed; 3 cans tomato sauce large; 3 cans tomatoes large, stewed; 3 cans red kidney beans large; 12 ounces green chili peppers bo ortega; 1 can salsa; 3 ounces chili powder watkins; 5 pounds ground chuck (ground beef); 1 Bottle red hot pepper sauce red devil

Servings: persons

5 each onions medium, diced
4 stalks celery chopped
4 each garlic crushed
3 cans tomato sauce large
3 cans tomatoes large, stewed
3 cans red kidney beans large
12 ounces green chili peppers bo ortega
1 can salsa
3 ounces chili powder watkins
5 pounds ground chuck (ground beef)
1 Bottle red hot pepper sauce red devil

Fry Onions, Celery and garlic until onions are transluscent.

Put in large Cast iron or stainless pot.

Brown Ground Chuck in skillet.

Drain off liquid, and put in pot.

Quarter tomatoes, and add to pot.

Add kidney beans and tomato sauce to pot .

Bring to boil, turn down heat and simmer slowly for 1hours, stirring often, to keep from sticking.

Add green chili salsa, salt, chili powder, hot sauce (to taste).

Simmer for two more hours.
