Ingredients: 2 tbsp Vegetable oil; 2 clove Garlic (I use 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic); 1 medium onion chopped (or 1/2 bag frozen chopped onion); 1 lb to 1-1/4 lb stew meat; 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce; 1 tsp Salt; 2 tsp Black Pepper; 1 tsp Basil; 2 tsp Oregano; 2 tsp Ground cayenne red pepper; 1 tsp Chili powder; 2 can Whole new potatoes (drained and cut into bite size pieces); 1 cup Frozen corn; 1 cup Frozen Mixed veggies; 3 cup Water; 1/4 cup Hot Water; 1/4 cup Flour

1 cup Frozen corn
1 cup Frozen Mixed veggies
3 cup Water
1/4 cup Hot Water
1/4 cup Flour

In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and onions and cook for 2 minutes.

Add meat and cook for about 5 minutes.

Add water, Worcestershire sauce, and all spices.

Bring to a boil then simmer on low heat for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

(Test a piece of stew meat for tenderness at 1-1/2 hours.

That's normally long enough for me but some prefer it to cook longer)

Add vegetables, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.

In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup hot water and 1/4 cup flour until smooth.

Pour into pot and mix well.

Simmer for about 10 minutes and remove from heat.

Stew will continue to thicken (a little more) as it sits.
