Cook pasta till tender.

Heat butter in pan till bubbly.

Increase heat and stir constantly till boiling.

Spread in shallow 2 qt casserole.

(At this point may cover and chill up to a day.)

Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 20 min (30 min if was refrigerated).

Uncover, sprinkle with the remaining 1 c. cheese and continue baking till cheese is melted (about 10 more min).
