In bowl or stand mixer, cream butter and sugars. Mix until smooth and add eggs. Mix. Add in salt, baking soda and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Then start adding in flour, mixing until just combined. Mix in mini chocolate chips.

Scoop 2-tablespoon-sized portions of dough with a medium-sized cookie scoop and place on prepared baking sheet. Add 4 to 5 m&m candies on top of the scooped cookies, Make sure to press them lightly into the dough so they stick.

Bake for 10-11 minutes. Once baked, they should measure 3 1/2 inches. If you'd prefer them smaller, that works too, plus it will make more cookies.
