Ingredients: 1 can chickpeas; 1 cup tomato sauce traditional prego; 1 tablespoon olive oil; 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped; 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes cut into halves; 1/4 cup green pepper finely chopped; 1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped; 2 sprigs fresh dill very finely chopped; 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste; 2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 can chickpeas
1 cup tomato sauce traditional prego
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes cut into halves
1/4 cup green pepper finely chopped
1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped
2 sprigs fresh dill very finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Combine finely chopped red onion, cherry tomatoes, green bell pepper, cilantro, dill, salt to taste and lemon juice in a bowl. Set aside.

Heat a small skillet on medium and add 1 tbsp olive oil.

Add 1 cup prego traditional tomato sauce. Stir, cover and cook for 3 mins on medium heat.

Open and drain the chickpeas from the can.

Add chickpeas to thw skillet. Stir and cover. Cook for 2 mins.

Add ingredients from the bowl previously set aside.

Mix and cook without cover for 1 min. Lemony chickpea salad is ready.

Serve hot or cold with soup, sanwich or rice.
