Lightly toast baguette slices.

If the slices are thin enough, you can do this in the toaster or toaster oven, otherwise, do this in the oven on a cookie sheet.

But watch them so you don't over toast them.

Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

Spread each with 1 teaspoons mayo or Miracle Whip, or omit if you don't personally care for it.

Next, spread each with about 2 teaspoons tomato pesto, homemade or store-bought.

This amount is approximate to the size of the slice of bread you are using.

Break up bacon into small pieces into a small bowl or just on your cutting board is fine.
