Let batter sit for 30 minutes.

Preheat oil to 365 degrees F in a deep fryer.

Place well rounded teaspoonfuls no more than four or five at a time into the hot oil.

Cook for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or till golden brown, turning doughnuts once.

Using a slotted spoon remove doughnuts and place on paper towels to drain.
