Italian Beef – a delicious recipe with beef roast, water, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, oregano. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

5 to 7 lb. beef roast
3 to 4 c. water
3 to 4 beef bouillon cubes
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 or 3 cloves garlic
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
2 Tbsp. oregano
1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. thyme
salt and pepper
4 to 6 green peppers

Cook meat with seasonings except salt and pepper in Dutch oven.

Bring to a boil, then cook on low heat 3 to 4 hours until done.

Add salt and pepper to taste during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Place sliced green peppers on top of beef and steam until tender.

Remove meat from broth and cool.

Slice beef thin and return to broth.

Serve on Italian bread.
