   Cook macaroni and cheese according to box directions.

   First, youll make the macaroni, then youll drain it and mix in the cheese that was provided in the box.

   While macaroni is cooking, crumble crackers into a microwave safe bowl with butter.

   Microwave it for 30 second intervals, mixing thoroughly after each round.

   Do this until crumbs are toasted (about 2 minutes total).

   Shred the Parmesan while waiting for the macaroni to finish cooking.

   Once the macaroni is done cooking, finish making the macaroni and cheese according to the box directions (drain, mix in cheese, etc.)

   Once youve prepared the mac and cheese, mix in the shredded Parmesan until melted and combined.

   Pour into serving bowls and top with toasted crackers.
