Ians Sausage and Apple Pie

   make the shortcrust pastry, i use a mixer as easier than doing it by hand.

   line a 2llb loaf tin with 3/4 of the prepared pastry and blind bake for 10 minutes.

   skin the sausage and place in tin .

   then peal and chop apple up and stew in a little water for 3 minutes.

   put on top off sausage meat in loaf tin.

   top the pie with the remaining pastry then glaze with beaten egg and cook in oven for 30 mins.
