1 c. brown rice
1/2 c. dry white wine
1 teaspoon dry basil, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounce. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Combine all ingredients except 1/2 of cheese, in 2 1/2 qt ungreased dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, covered.

Uncover and top with remaining cheese.
