Guinness cupcakes

   preheat oven to 350

   put butter and stout beer in sauce pan over medium heat and bring to simmer

   whisk in cocoa powder until smooth, cool slightly

   in large bowl whisk flour, sugar, baking soda and salt

   in mixer bowl beat eggs and sour cream together, add beer mixture and beat to combine

   add flour mixture and beat briefly just to combine

   using rubber spatula fold batter until completely combined

   fill cupcakes liners 3/4 of the way

   bake for 17 minutes.

    cool completely
