For the grilled onions:

Slice onion into thick slices, then pull the rings apart and set aside in a bowl.

Mix together the Emerils Essence and olive oil in a large mug.

Put the onions on the grill on medium heat, on a grill pan so they do not fall through the grates.

Use a grill brush to baste the onions with the oil mixture and continue to turn and baste until they are nice and brown.

This should take about 15 minutes.

Once done, set aside in a bowl and then put in the microwave to stay warm.

For the burgers:

Mix sirloin, salt, pepper, mustard, garlic salt, egg and steak sauce in a bowl.

Form into 6 medium-sized patties.

I like them small so that they cook evenly.

Take your hamburgers out to the grill and cook on medium heat.

I use the same pan from the onions to give it flavor.

It should take about 10 minutes on each side depending on how you like yours cooked.

Put your bun on a plate and spread enough French Fry Sauce to coat the bottom.

To make the sauce, mix the ketchup, mustard and sour cream together in a bowl and stir until creamy.

Then add one piece of cheese and then your hamburger patty.

Then add your grilled onions that you have been keeping warm to the top of the hamburger patty and add a thick layer of guacamole to the top of the bun.
