-
6
In a large bowl combine the ground beef, pork, eggs, oats, garlic, onion, tomato paste, pepper and salt.
-
7
Knead with your hands until just combined.
-
8
Break off a teaspoon sized bite, put it on a saucer and microwave for about 30 seconds, until cooked.
-
9
Taste for seasoning and adjust if necessary.
-
10
Section the meat into 8 equal portions.
-
11
Gently flatten out one portion (be careful to not compress the meat) and wrap it around a ping pong ball sized scoop of the chilled beer cheese.
-
12
Form into a meatloaf shape.
-
13
Place two half slices of bacon across the top of the meatloaf in an X shape and put it on a tray.
-
14
Repeat with the rest of the meat and cheese mixtures.
-
15
Mix the glaze ingredients in a small bowl until combined.
-
16
Set aside.
-
17
Preheat the grill to medium heat and then shut off one side of the burners.
-
18
Place the meatloaves on the cooler side of the grill to cook.
-
19
Put the lid on and do not flip throughout the cooking process.
-
20
Grill until the meatloaves are cooked throughout, about 20-30 minutes.
-
21
About halfway through the cooking process brush on the glaze.
