In a pirex, put a bit of olive oil at bottom.

Turm oven on at 350 degrees.

Peel potatoes and slice them very thin, preferably with mandoline. Cut onions into small squares, and cut garlic into very small pieces.

Start putting a layer of potatoes, then add some onions and garlic, salt and pepper. Repeat, potatoes, onions, garlic (not a lot of onions and garlic) salt and pepper. Repeat as many times as you want. Don't let the potatoes go over the dish.

After putting last layer of potatoes, add cream until it almost covers potatoes,do not cover them.

Put into oven. It will take approx. 40-45 mins. You will know when ready by the smell and the color of the top layer.
