To prepare cake, cream butter and sugar.

Add eggs on at a time and beat well.

Add sifted flour, salt and baking soda alternating with sour cream.

Add vanilla, almond extract, and cinnamon.

Place in greased and floured pan.

Bake at 325F for at least 1 hour or until done.

To prepare topping, bring all wet ingredients and mixed berries to a simmer.

When bubbles start to form, turn down heat.
