Golden Glow Cake

   Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

   Cream butter until very soft.

   Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, creaming after each addition until light and fluffy (about 10 minutes).

   Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

   Add flavorings.

   Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating until smooth.

   Bake in four 9-inch layer pans, lined on bottom with paper, in a moderate 350u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
