**Ill add instructions on how to powder both preminced (bought) and clove garlic as i had both.
-
2
I minced them because i wanted to use my screens and they dry better.
-
3
But if you have a different dehydrator setup and can dehydrate them in slices, im sure theyll dry the same :)**
-
4
if using Clove garlic, go to step 3.
-
5
If using preminced garlic skip to step 4.
-
6
Clove garlic instructions: Peel outter paper from garlic cloves, and seperate the cloves.
-
7
Bring water to a boil (this makes it much easier to get the inner paper off cloves) when water is boiling, remove from heat and set cloves into water for about 30 - 45 seconds.
-
8
Remove them from the water and peel the inner paper off cloves.
-
9
Mince the cloves to tiny pieces.
-
10
-
11
If using minced garlic prepackaged in a jar: You'll want to rinse this through a strainer first under running water.
-
12
Put strainer in a big bowl.
-
13
Empty the jar of minced garlic in the strainer, and rince it off directly into the bowl.
-
14
Move to step 5.
-
15
Put minced garlic on fruit rollup tray in a thin layer.
-
16
Set fruit rollup tray on top of main dehydrator tray (fruit rollup tray is needed because the pieces are very small).
-
17
Dehydrate at 135F / 57C for 12 hrs, or until done
-
18
Mill to powder using grinder or a nutribullet (using the milling blade).
-
19
Load into jars for storage.
