"Full English" Toastie – a delicious recipe with bread, oil, egg, bacon, sausage, beans. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Brush the sandwich toaster with a little sunflower oil and preheat to its highest setting.

Brush one side of one slice of bread with oil and place in the toaster.

Press the bread into the recesses of the toaster with the back of a soon taking care not to break the bread, or the filling with leak out.

Spoon the egg into the triangular recesses.

Top with the bacon, sausage, and beans taking care to spread the filling evenly and to keep the filling within the recesses of the toaster.

Season to taste.

Oil one side of the second slice of bread and use this to top the sandwich, placing the oiled side uppermost.

Slowly bring the lid of the toaster down to gently rest on top of the sandwich for 3 minutes (do not close fully or lock the lid shut).

Then, close the sandwich toaster fully, lock the lid and cook for a further 4 minutes until crisp and golden.
