Name: Fruit Cake
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients: 1 lb. pecans; 3/4 lb. chopped candied pineapple; 3/4 lb. chopped candied cherries; 1 lb. seedless white raisins; 1 bottle French's brandy flavoring (1 oz.); 1 tsp. salt; 1/2 lb. soft butter; 2 1/4 c. sugar; 6 eggs; 1 tsp. nutmeg; 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon; 4 c. sifted flour

Mix butter, sugar and eggs in large bowl.

Add dry ingredients (sift together).

Combine, using heavy spoon or hands.

Add nuts, fruit and flavoring.

Bake 1 pound loaves at 275u00b0 for 2 hours and tube pan at 275u00b0 for 3 hours.

Half hour before done, take out of oven and brush with honey and corn syrup.

Continue baking.

Turn upside down to cool.

Wrap in a wine cloth.

Store in a plastic bag in a cool place.
