Fresh Strawberry Pie

   Make 9-inch pie shell and cool.

   Mix together sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan.

   Add boiling water, stir and cook over medium heat until clear.

   Remove from stove and add 3 drops red food coloring and 3 tablespoons strawberry jello powder.

   Mix well and cool.

   Line pie shell with washed berries and add cooled mixture.

   Top with Cool Whip and whipped cream.
