   Add shortening to flour, salt, sugar and mix until the consistency of coarse meal.

   Add water beaten egg, vinegar and blend lightly.

   Shape into a ball.

   Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours.

   Divide equally.

   Roll thin and place on two 10-inch pie plates.

   Bake 15 minutes at 400u00b0 for baked shell recipes or unbaked according to particular recipe.
