In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and melted butter.

Mix and press onto bottom and sides of 8-inch spring-form pan.

In large mixing bowl, combine cranberries and 1 cup sugar.

Let stand 5 minutes.

Add unbeaten egg whites, orange juice, vanilla and salt.

Beat on low speed of electric mixer until frothy, then beat at high speed 6 to 8 minutes or until stiff peaks form.

In small bowl, whip cream to soft peaks. Fold into cranberry mixture.

Turn into crust.

Freeze firm.

To serve, remove torte to serving platter.

Spoon Glaze over top. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
