Face Painting

   Mix shortening and cornstarch until there are no lumps.

   If the mixture is too thick, add a few drops of water; if too thin, add 1/4 teaspoon shortening at a time.

   Divide the mixture into different bowls for different paint colors.

   Add food coloring to make the desired color.

   This paint may be refrigerated in a sealed container for up to three days.
