In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, soda, baking powder and optional caraway seed and raisins.

Combine well. Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients, stirring with wooden spoon just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn out dough onto lightly floured board. Knead lightly until smooth, about 1 minute. Shape dough into a ball.
