Hunt's tomato sauce; 2 1/2 c. water; 1/2 c. ripe olives, sliced; 1/2 pound spaghetti, uncooked; 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Servings: persons

2 slices bacon, diced
2 med. onions, minced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 pound lean grnd beef
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon chili pwdr
2 cans (8 ounce.) Hunt's tomato sauce
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. ripe olives, sliced
1/2 pound spaghetti, uncooked
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

In large pan or possibly heavy skillet, fry bacon about 2 min.

Add in onions and garlic and cook till soft.

Add in meat and cook till it turns brown.

Stir in seasonings, tomato sauce and water.

Cover and simmer about 25 min.

Stir in ripe olives.

Break half the spaghetti in greased 2 qt casserole.

Cover with half the sauce and half the cheese.

Repeat layers.

Cover with lid or possibly metal foil.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min.

Uncover and bake 15 min longer or possibly till browned and bubbly.
