Ingredients: 20 ml olive oil; 1 kg lamb chops, 6 lamb chops your favourite cut; 6 tsp BBQ spice; 3 tsp salt; 2 tsp ground black pepper; 6 medium onions, peeled cut in half and sliced; 2 tbsp chopped coriander; 6 tbsp bisto, gravy powder; 500 ml cold water; 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

20 ml olive oil
1 kg lamb chops, 6 lamb chops your favourite cut
6 tsp BBQ spice
3 tsp salt
2 tsp ground black pepper
6 medium onions, peeled cut in half and sliced
2 tbsp chopped coriander
6 tbsp bisto, gravy powder
500 ml cold water
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 200C

Mix together the BBQ spice, salt and ground black pepper.

Season your meat with the spice mix

Brown the lamb chops in a large frying pan with the olive oil, over a high heat.

Remove and lay them out flat in a large oven dish.

Brown the onions in the same frying pan

Mix together the water, Worcestershire sauce and the bisto.

Pour the mixture over the onions and reduce the heat.

Bring the onion and gravy mixture to a boil

Check for salt and pepper.

Pour it over the lamb chops, cover and bake in oven for 60 minutes.

Serve with mash potatoes
