Easy Icing

   Beat butter and shortening in a large bowl until the mix is light and fluffy.

   Add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating the mixture between each cup.

   Add vanilla; mix well.

   Add 2 tablespoons milk and beat quickly until icing is light, thick and fluffy.

   For smoother icing, add more milk.

   Add food coloring and mix until desired color.
