1 - Defrost the frozen puff pastry in the fridge (about 1 hour).

2 - Dust the puff pastry and roll out with a rolling pin to half its original thickness.

3 - Cut out into shapes of your choice (make the same shapes as you put 2 pastry pieces together).

4 - Brush egg yolk on the edges, and put 1 block of chocolate between 2 pieces.

5 - Put 2 pieces together, and firmly press the edges with a fork and pierce the tops.

6 - Brush egg yolk on the surface, sprinkle granulated sugar and top with sliced almonds.

7 - Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 15 minutes (adjust the cooking time, checking the pies so as not to burn).

8 - Cool a bit, and they are done!
