Dutch Apies Cakes(Pennsylvania Dutch Recipe)

   Combine the flour, sugar and baking soda. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender.

   Mix in the sour cream.

   Roll out the dough about 1/8-inch thick on a floured surface and cut into 2-inch rounds or squares. Transfer to a cookie sheet. Bake at 400u00b0 for about 8 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar.
