Dump Cake(Microwave)

   Melt butter or margarine in a 1-cup glass measure (50% power) for about 4 minutes.

   In cake dish, spread the strawberries evenly; sprinkle fresh ones with sugar, then spoon on the pineapple (with juice).

   Sprinkle cake mix evenly over fruit, then the nuts. Drizzle melted butter as evenly as possible over all.

   Set cake dish on an inverted oven glass pie plate to raise it a little nearer oven center.

   Cook on High (uncovered), about 10 minutes, giving dish a quarter turn twice during cooking.

   Mixture should be boiling throughout.

   Set dish out on flat surface.

   Add a light sprinkle of grated nutmeg at this time.

   Serve slightly warm or at room temperature for best consistency and flavor, plain or with milk or cream, or topped with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.
