Dates Wrapped in Bacon

   Please use dried dates that you can get in the dried fruits section of your grocery store.

   Make cuts in the middle and remove the seeds.

   Chop up the blue cheese into adequate sizes to pack inside the dates.

   The left ones in this photo are already packed with cheese.

   You don't need to close them up completely.

   Wrap up each of the dates with half a slice of bacon.

   Secure each wrap with a toothpick.

   Make sure to leave a decent gap in-between the dates so that the bacon will be cooked properly.

    Place the secured dates on a double-layered aluminum foil.

    Bake for 15 minutes in a 180C oven.

    The cheese inside the dates are melting, and they smell really good.

    Remove the toothpicks and dish them up.
