*Custard Baked In Phyllo Dough

   In a saucepan, combine milk, eggs, farina, sugar and the 4 tablespoons butter.

   Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil and is thick.

   Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

   Place half of the filo pastry in a 12 x 16-inch baking pan, buttering each sheet before placing it in the pan. Pour filling into pan and cover with remaining filo, again brushing each one generously with butter.

   With a sharp knife, cut top pastry square shaped pieces and bake in a 350u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until golden brown. Remove from oven and pour the syrup.
