1 c. minced onions
1 tart apple, peeled and diced
2 tbsp. butter
2 teaspoon curry pwdr
2 lbs. lean grnd beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. lowfat milk
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 c. minced nuts

Saute/fry the onion and apple in butter over medium heat till soft, about 10 min.

Stir in curry; turn into a bowl.

To the grnd beef, add in bread crumbs, egg, lowfat milk, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and nuts.

Add in apple/onion mix.

Combine ingredients well, then pack loosely into an 8 x 8 inch baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min.
