Corn Meal Pound Cake

   Cream butter and sugar.

   Add vanilla and salt.

   Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Sift flour, meal and soda 3 times.

   Add alternately with sour cream.

   Add salt to egg whites.

   Beat until stiff.

   Fold into cake mixture.

   Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350u00b0
