Open the cans of mixed fruit and the jar of cherries and let them drain in a colander for about 10 minutes. You want as little juice as possible.

While that's draining, cut up the apple into bite sized pieces.

In a large bowl, dump the fruit. {I use a large glass mixing bowl that has a lid. No need to have dishes to wash}

Now add the apple, raisins and nuts. {Only use the nuts if you know for sure no one is allergic!}

Mix the bowl really well.

Now add the container of Cool Whip and marshmallows. Mix well. making sure everything is covered with Cool Whip.

Stick in the fridge for about an hour. This will get things nice and cold.
