Coconut Pound Cake

   Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.

   Cream shortenings, sugar and egg yolks.

   Gradually add milk and flour; mix well.

   Add flavorings.

   Fold in coconut.

   Fold in egg whites last.

   Stir only until mixed well.

   Bake in tube pan at 300u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
