2) Combine flour, cocoa powder (note: it's 2 Tablespoons AND 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder, that's not a typo!), baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.

3) In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla extract; beat well.

4) Add the flour mixture to the large bowl of creamed sugars and mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.

5) Drop cookies by rounded tablespoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350F, do not overbake.

6) Cool cookies on baking sheet 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
