1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 (1 stick) butter
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated

4 tablespoons sugar
6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 cup (optional) chopped nuts
1/4 cup peppermint candy canes, crushed
