Preheat oven to 375u00b0. In small bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt together. In large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla with wooden spoon. Beat in eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
