Ingredients: 1/3 c. minced green pepper; 1/3 c. minced onion; 3 tbsp. shortening; 1/4 c. Bisquick; 1 can cream of celery soup; 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk; 1 1/2 c. diced cooked turkey or possibly chicken; 1 c. frzn green peas; 2 c. Bisquick; 1/2 c. cool water; 3/4 c. shredded American cheese

1/3 c. minced green pepper
1/3 c. minced onion
3 tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. Bisquick
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
1 1/2 c. diced cooked turkey or possibly chicken
1 c. frzn green peas
2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. cool water
3/4 c. shredded American cheese

Cook green pepper and onion in 2 qt kettle in shortening till tender.

Stir in 1/4 c. Bisquick.

Add in soup and gradually stir in lowfat milk.

Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Boil 1 minute, then stir in meat and peas.

Pour into a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch pan.

Mix 2 c. Bisquick and water to make soft dough, beat vigorously 20 strokes.

Smooth dough into a ball on a floured board.

Knead 5 times.

Roll into a rectangle 15 x 9 inches.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Roll up tightly, starting at 15 inch side.

Seal well and cut into 12 (1 1/2 inch) slices.

Place slices on turkey mix.
