1
I use a toaster oven, why?
-
2
It's just the wife and I.
-
3
It takes less electricity and less space to keep hot.
-
4
So your cooking times will vary.
-
5
Preheat oven to 425.
-
6
Place rack on lower shelf.
-
7
Mix dry ingredients.
-
8
If you don't understand a dash, it's what gets shaken from a spice jar.
-
9
This is not exact, dash to your taste.
-
10
Cover one piece of chicken thigh at a time with dry ingredients
-
11
If you are using chicken breasts, you will want to butterfly them first.
-
12
This is a neccessary step.
-
13
Spray glass dish with cooking spray.
-
14
Place one chicken thigh in dish.
-
15
Place slice of swiss cheese on chicken and fold chicken in half.
-
16
Use a toothpick if needed.
-
17
Continue with the rest of the chicken.
-
18
(Chicken breast option) This is why you need to butterfly the breasts if you use them instead of thighs.
-
19
Now we put this in the oven for 30 minutes
-
20
Watch so the chicken does not burn.
-
21
DING!
-
22
Take the chicken out, spoon on the marinara.
-
23
Again, spoon on the marinara.
-
24
You don't want to drown the chicken.
-
25
Shreed some swiss and sprinkle on top of the marinara
-
26
Turn the oven down to 350
-
27
Back in the oven for 15 minutes.
-
28
Last step, remove the toothpick if you used one and enjoy!
