Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

   Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla.

   Let sit 1 hour.

   Combine flour, salt, baking soda and sugars.

   Add to egg mixture.

   Add shortening.

   Mix well with electric mixer.

   Add cinnamon.

   Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

   Flatten with bottom of a glass.

    Dip glass in water as needed to prevent dough from sticking.

    Bake at 350u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
