Chewy Homestead Brownies

   Cream butter or margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large mixer bowl.

   Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate mixture.

   Stir in peanut butter chips.

   Spread in 13 x 9-inch pan or 9-inch square pan.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies pull away from pan.

   Cool in pan; frost, if desired.

   Cut into squares.
