2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
2 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 egg yolks
6 tbsp. sifted cake flour

Simmer 5 min stirring constantly.

Beat egg whites till foamy; add in salt and cream of tartar; beat till stiff.

Beat egg yolks till thick and lemon in color; add in sugar; beat thoroughly.

Fold egg yolks into egg whites, then mix in flour.

Pour cherry mix into a 1 1/2 qt casserole.
