Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix together. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add beaten eggs, butter and buttermilk. Mix together by hand with a wooden spoon. Do not over-mix. Fold in cheddar cheese.

In a 5 x 9 baking pan (use a non-stick pan or spray with your favorite cooking spray) add mixture. Spread it out with an offset spatula. Place in the oven on the middle rack and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Remove from oven.

Let it cool for 10 minutes then remove it from the pan, slice and serve. I love to add butter to a warm slice! Enjoy.
