Caramelised Beetroot And Apple Recipe

   Preheat the oven to 190C, 375F, Gas Mark 5.

   Place the beetroot in a roasting tin along with the extra virgin olive oil, mix to incorporate and cook for 20 min.

   After 20 min min remove the roasting tin from the oven add in the apple and dot with the butter and sprinkle over the sugar.

   Return back to the oven and cook for a further 20 min.

   Remove and gently stir in the minced parsley then serve immediately alongside roasted meats or possibly sausages.

   NOTES : A lovely combination of beetroot and apples, ideal served alongside roasted meats or possibly sausages from the JSSausage of Distinction Range'.
